The Portland Winter Solstice Fun Run is back for 2025. Celebrate the Winter Solstice in style by participating in this challenging and exciting day.
The Winter Solstice Fun Run incorporates three challenging and scenic distances which you can run or walk, and we've also got a free 1km Kid's Dash.
Portland Runners Club proudly donates $2 per entry to Beats Cycle for Hope, with great prizes on offer. Note, courses are not suitable for prams or dogs.

Race Information

CUT OFF TIMES - The courses close at 12:30pm, 25km race cutoff is therefore 4hrs

BIB COLLECTION - Bib collection will be from 7am Sunday 22nd June at the Ploughed Field (Across fom Hospital). (no later than 30minutes prior to event start/bus departure time.

BUSES - leave from the Ploughed Field, Bentnick St. Be there no later than 15mins before your bus is scheduled to leave.

KIDS RUN - The FREE kids run takes place at approximately 11:30am at the Ploughed Field. Its 1km long.​
